The purpose and objectives of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment are:

• To share information on matters related to third party assessments and other assessments and on matters of rehabilitation and disability
• To develop standards of practice and conduct on matters related to third party requested assessments and other assessments and on matters of rehabilitation and disability.
• To educate on matters related to third party requested assessments and other assessments and on matters of rehabilitation and disability.
• To advocate on matters related to third party requested assessments and other assessments and on matters of rehabilitation and disability.
