Larissa Mead-Wescott

Ph.D., ABPP, R.Psych.

Dr. Larissa Mead-Wescott is a registered psychologist who is board certified in the area of neuropsychology. She completed a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in Adult Neuropsychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1998. She was awarded diplomate status by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, the highest credential in the field, in 2001. Additional postdoctoral experience in Pediatric Neuropsychology was obtained at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2002. She has practiced in both the US and Canada, and has worked primarily in brain injury rehabilitation settings and in private practice. She has established and operated a number of specialty clinics, including a Concussion Clinic in the early 2000’s and a Memory Disorders Clinic in the mid 2000’s. She moved to the Vancouver area in 2011, and has since worked in a group neuropsychology practice in Vancouver, at GF Strong Rehab Center (on the Adolescent and Young Adult unit, largely with clients with mild TBI injuries), in the head injury rehab program at Lifemark Health Centre in Vancouver and in her own private practice, North Shore Neuropsychology. Since 2018, she has devoted her professional time to performing neuropsychological assessments and consultations for individuals ages 14-90+ in her private practice, for both clinical and medicolegal purposes.
