Dr. Day is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. His area of practice is Clinical Neuropsychology. He is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), the International Neuropsychological Society (INS), the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), and a member of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA). He served on the executive committee of CAPDA from 2011 to 2017. He also served on the Fitness to Practice Committee of the College of Psychologists of Ontario from 2015 to 2017. He obtained his certification for Catastrophic Assessment (C-CAT (MB)) from the Canadian Society of Medical Examiners (CSME) and CAPDA in May 2017. He completed his M.Sc at Purdue University, and his Ph.D., at Concordia University. He has held a position at Queen’s University as Coordinator of the Trauma Studies Program in the Department of Psychiatry, and as Geriatric Neuropsychologist in the Geriatric Psychiatry Program at Providence Continuing Care Centre, Mental Health Services (formerly Kingston Psychiatric Hospital). He holds academic posts as adjunct Assistant Professor in both Departments of Psychiatry and Psychology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He has a private practice for the neuropsychological and psychological assessment and treatment of adults with clinics in Kingston and Trenton, Ontario.
