February 3, 2021, 7:30 - 8:30 PM
The CAPDA Board of Directors is pleased to offer a series of monthly Zoom sessions titled “Truth Through Discourse”, which offers open discussion on various topics of interest to psychologists, psychological associates and clinical psychology graduate students.
Scheduled from 7:30 – 8:30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month, these discussions are offered free for CAPDA members and $5 for non-members for each session.
Our next session will be offered on Wednesday February 3 from 7:30 - 8:30 pm EST.
A number of lawyers in recent years have been applying pressure on psychologists to release copyright protected psychological test material for the purposes of examining evidence in the context of court or LAT proceedings.
This meeting will include a brief overview of problem, the dangers of handing over test material, the CPO's position, war stories told by a number of psychologists, some ideas of what you might do if this happens to you, and most importantly, an open discussion of how we as a group might proceed going forward to address this issue.
The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Jeremy B. Frank, Ph.D., C. Psych., C-CAT (MB), CMLE (O)
NOTE: This session is available only to registered psychologists.
For those interested in the topic but not a registered psychologist, this may be offered as a webinar in the future.
