Ketamine Enhanced Therapy

The CAPDA Board of Directors is pleased to offer a series of monthly Zoom sessions titled "Truth Through Discourse", which offers open discussion on various topics of interest to psychologists, psychological associates and clinical psychology graduate students.
Scheduled from 7:30 - 8:30 pm each month, these discussions are offered free for CAPDA members and $5 for non-members for each session.
Our next session is scheduled for Wednesday September 29 from 7:30 -9:00 pm (1 hour lecture and 30 minutes for Q&A).
Dr. Dawn DeCunha will discuss Ketamine Enhanced Therapy: A new model of drug assisted psychotherapy - the evidence, the science, the controversy, and the opportunity for Psychologists.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Dr. Dawn DeCunha is a clinical psychologist with more than two decades of experience in trauma informed assessment and treatment with vulnerable populations. In the past, she has used a variety of tools including CBT, DCBT, EMDR, Mindfulness and Hypnosis to name a few. More recently, she is a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies post graduate program in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy and Research.
She is also a fully trained Compass Pathways therapist in Psilocybin Assisted Therapy and has recently completed her role as Lead Therapist for Phase II clinical trials at CAMH. She has a focus on Integration Therapy, Research and Education. She works in a Trauma Informed way and has an interest in Intergenerational Trauma, Childhood Trauma, Post-Traumatic Growth and Spirituality.
