The CAPDA Board of Directors is pleased to offer a series of Zoom sessions titled "Truth Through Discourse", which offers open discussion on various topics of interest to psychologists, psychological associates and clinical psychology graduate students.

These discussions are offered free for CAPDA members and $5 for non-members for each session.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Anthony Nazarov, PhD, PMP

Dr. Anthony Nazarov is a neuroscientist with a research focus on PTSD, moral injury, and social cognition. He is the Associate Scientific Director of the MacDonald Franklin OSI Research Centre, Canada's leading military and Veteran mental health research centre. He is also an Associate Scientist at Lawson Health Research Institute, a Research Scientist in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University and faculty member at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. Prior to joining Lawson, he was a defence scientist at the Department of National Defence, Defence Research and Development Canada, investigating psychological resilience and mental health in Canadian Armed Forces personnel. Dr. Nazarov’s research explores how we can better identify, treat, and prevent operational stress injuries, with a particular interest in the interplay between trauma, morality, and sense-making. He currently chairs the Atlas Institute Moral Injury Research Community of Practice. Dr. Nazarov is also passionate about improving patient engagement in clinical research –  he is a co-founder of ParticipAid, an Xonline research participant recruitment and engagement platform.
