Webinar: What is a Health College’s Authority to Regulate Social Media Postings by Regulated Health Care Professionals?
January 19, 2024, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
In this timely CPD, hear from Emma Gardiner, associate at Rosen Sunshine LLP, about a health college’s authority to regulate the social media postings of its’ members. Emma will review a number of cases involving professional regulatory bodies taking action against a member in relation to “off-duty” public comments, which will help to illustrate the scope and limits of a health college’s authority.
Following Emma’s presentation, we will hold CAPDA’s Annual General Meeting and we would encourage all CAPDA members to participate.
Schedule:
10:00 - 12:00 Educational Webinar
12:00 - 1:00 CAPDA Annual General Meeting
NOTE: This webinar will be offered in English only.
