Mohammad Nikkhou

Dr. Mohammad Reza Nikkhou holds a PhD degree in Psychology and a Postdoctoral Certificate in Clinical Neuropsychology. He is certified by the American Board of Forensic Professionals (ABFP) in the evaluation of disability and impairment rating and is a member of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment. Dr. Nikkhou has over 20 years of professional experience as a psychologist in conducting psychological assessments/evaluations and has provided treatment to individuals with various psychological disorders (e.g. mood, anxiety, cognitive and somatoform disorders). Dr. Nikkhou has worked in several clinical/psychiatric settings, universities and private practices. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses of clinical psychology since 1993 and was a faculty member of Azad University, the head of psychology department of Iranian Psychiatric Hospital in Tehran-Iran and the chief psychologist at Grand Valley Institution for Women in Kitchener-Ontario. He has translated ICD-10 (Chapter 5F), DSM-IV and DSM-IV-TR to Persian/Farsi and published several psychological textbooks and articles. Dr. Nikkhou currently does practice in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in the Province of Ontario.
