Robert Woods

M.Sc., Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Woods has been a Registered Psychologist in Ontario since 1990. He completed graduate degrees and clinical and applied training in both Clinical Psychology (University of Manitoba; APA accredited) and Applied Health Sciences (University of Waterloo); a pre-doctoral internship (Cook County Hospital/University of Illinois; APA accredited); a post-doctoral residency in Clinical Health Psychology (Health Sciences Centre, University of Manitoba); and a post-doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology (Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, University of Toronto). He maintain a part-time independent practice in Clinical, Health, and Rehabilitation Psychology with current emphasis on disability assessment of injured workers. He is listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Psychologists (CRHSP), and holds memberships in the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). His professional practice since 1990 has included clinical and consulting work in public hospital, private clinic, organizational, and employee assistance settings. He has served as a Consulting Psychologist with the Clinical Services Branch of the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) in Toronto.
