Sally MacLean

Psychologist II, CMLE

I currently maintain an intimate on-line practice offering services to persons who have suffered psychological and or medical injuries/illness. I conduct comprehensive psychological and vocational assessments, and offer diagnostic opinions with respect to applications for WCB, Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH), and for litigation purposes. I determine and interpret a variety of standardized measures of cognitive and intellectual functioning, vocational interests/aptitudes, pain and disability, personality and psychopathology, and functional competence measures. I also provide in-depth counselling and therapeutic services for folks experiencing psychological injury/illness/trauma, and am specially authorized to provide Traumatic Psychological Injury (TPI) services to first responder and military populations. I maintain a specialty in the area of complex and persistent pain management. As a retired clinical psychologist with the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, I have a strong background providing psychological assessment, pain management, and medical rehabilitative treatment to patients suffering from catastrophic injuries. These specifically include burns, amputations, orthopaedic injuries, brain and spinal cord injuries, and general neurological disorders.
