Dr. Kim Payne received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from McGill University. She is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association, the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and is on the permanent registry with the College of Psychologists of Ontario with competency in the areas of clinical, health, rehabilitation, and neuropsychology. She is co-founder of the Ottawa Psychology Group; a group of psychologists providing assessment and treatment services to Ottawa and the surrounding area. Dr. Payne has extensive experience working with personal injury and provides services including psychological and neuropsychological assessments, evaluations for motor vehicle accident clients and insurers, private disability insurers, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and psychological opinion for use in legal proceedings. Dr. Payne has qualified as an expert witness at trial and arbitration proceedings. She is certified to undertake Catastrophic Impairment Determinations for mental behavioral impairment C-CAT (MB) and in Medicolegal Expertise in Ontario CMLE (O) through the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment and Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.
