Dr. Shirin Jazayeri, Ph.D., C. Psych. Dr. Shirin Jazayeri is an autonomous psychologist and registered psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in individual, couples, family, and group therapy. She holds a Ph.D. in Health Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and she has extensive training in evidence-based modalities including CBT, MBCT, and short-term psychodynamic therapy. Dr. Jazayeri specializes in trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, chronic pain, and stress-related conditions. Since 2018, she has conducted Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) for clients involved in motor vehicle accidents (MVA) and workplace injuries (WSIB), offering expert psychological assessments and detailed medico-legal reports. Dr. Jazayeri works with diverse adult populations and is fluent in English, Persian, Farsi, Dari and Tajik. She is committed to a compassionate, culturally informed approach and also supervises graduate students and registered psychotherapists in clinical training.
