Dr. Michelle Keightley is a licensed Psychologist (Certificate of Registration #4192) in the Province of Ontario. She was granted a license for autonomous practice in 2005. Her area of speciality is Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Keightley received her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Psychology from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology, with the Collaborative Program in Neuroscience, from the University of Toronto. Dr. Keightley completed her pre-doctoral placement at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute in Neurology Services. Postdoctoral training included the Community Mental Health Services program at Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Keightley is an Adjunct Scientist in the Bloorview Research Institute at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. Dr. Keightley founded and directed the Concussion Centre in the Bloorview Research Institute, as well as the Centre for Leadership in Acquired Brain Injury at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She was named the inaugural holder of the Holland Family Chair in Acquired Brain Injury at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Keightley currently maintains an assessment practice including neuropsychological treatment and impairment evaluations in children, adolescents and adults. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and International Neuropsychological Society. She is also a member and serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment. She is certified by the CSME-CAPDA C-CAT Credentialing Executive Committee as a designated Catastrophic Impairment Assessor.
