Tobi Lubinsky
Ph.D., C.Psych., C-CAT(MB), CMLE
Dr. Tobi Lubinsky is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Her areas of practice are Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Lubinsky obtained both her MA and doctoral degree in Psychology from York University. She has held positions at the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, Sunnybrook Women’s College Health Sciences Centre, Hamilton Program for Schizophrenia, North York General Hospital, and The University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Lubinsky also held a position as a Neuropsychologist at The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute – University Campus in the Department of Neurology, where she conducted neuropsychological assessments for WSIB. Dr. Lubinsky is a full member of the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA) and is a current board member. Dr. Lubinsky worked on the Ontario Psychological Association’s working task force developing professional guidelines for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of concussions. She is also an experienced CAT assessor (Assessments for the Determination of Catastrophic Impairment) and is among the first wave of practitioners to receive the C-CAT (Mental/Behavioral) certification through the joint CSME/CAPDA Catastrophic Training Certification Program. She has also completed the Canadian Medical-Legal Expertise (CMLE) course through the joint CSME/CAPDA training. Dr. Lubinsky is an associate in Dr. Kurzman’s practice where she performs independent assessments and medical legal assessments.
